J.P. Firebaugh has apples and pears from eastern Nebraska for sale in bulk on the Burlington tracks on East First Street. Jonathan apples are $2 a bushel, Kneffer pears $2.40 for a bushel.

Tomorrow night will be “Terry Night” at the Pastime theater in Sheridan. All kinds of groceries, meats and candies will be given away free starting at 9. Prizes include a sack of “Sifted Snow” flour, a side of bacon, and 15 pounds of sugar. The Pastime is featuring 8 reels of movies. Admission is 10 cents.

Mrs. C.E. Worthington went to Arvada today on a short business trip.

H. Sanders, proprietor of the Kentucky Saloon in Sheridan was found guilty in police court yesterday of permitting gambling in his place. He has appealed the case to the district court.
