A Look Back in Time: Dec. 17, 1915

December 17, 2015

A good crowd attended the poultry show here in Sheridan last night and this afternoon, and indications are that tonight’s and tomorrow’s crowds will be equally large. Scoring was completed about 3 o’clock this afternoon, and results will be posted on Sunday.

Reed’s has an endless variety of handkerchiefs in the prettiest, daintiest styles ever show in Sheridan. All are sale priced from 4 cents to $1.

In a little reminder to Sheridan folks that, in spite of all the urban amenities, the sage brush is not far away, a jack rabbit scampered down Main street today with constantly growing throngs of dogs in full cry behind. The rabbit came down the courthouse hill, past the Western hotel and turned east onto Works street, finally escaping into the open country.
