Applications for grazing permits on the Big Horn forest have been made for more than 45,000 cattle and horses and more than 168,000 sheep. Of those numbers, applications from Sheridan County total more than 16,000 cattle and horses, and more than 35,000 sheep.
Humphrys in Sheridan has the newest styles in wash waist dresses for women, and they will be on sale tomorrow, all sizes up to 44, for $1.25 each. New wash dresses for girls ages 6 to 14 will be priced from 89 cents to $1.39.
Today is railroad pay day. As usual, stores in Sheridan will remain open until 9 o’clock tonight.
