Four canyons – Big Horn, Devil’s, Black and Bull Elk – are included in an area in the Big Horn mountains which an effort is being made to have set aside by the federal government as a national park and game preserve. The canyons are regarded by many as the most marvelous to be found in any mountain section of the country.
E.F. Diers took several excellent panoramic pictures of the Sheridan Stampede, including scenes of the fair grounds and the old-timers divisions in the pageant.
Sheridan’s lawyers and doctors will take a half-holiday Saturday for an outing on Piney, including a dinner at 7 o’clock in one of the hotels in that vicinity. The lawyers are entertaining the doctors, who defeated the lawyers at the annual ball game about a month ago.
