The purebred Hereford herd, consisting of 50 head of cows, purchased last week by Dr. E.E. Levers and Prof. J.J. Early, has been delivered to their Tongue river ranch. The herd was purchased from Col. Jack Moore of Box Elder creek, and is considered one of the best small Hereford herds in the Sheridan country.

Twelve handsome silver cups have been donated for use as trophies in the Sheridan horse show to be held at the fair grounds Aug. 1. Some of the cups were placed in the window of C.P. Story’s real estate office today.

Conductor Hammond is having an addition built to his house on his Wolf creek ranch south of Ranchester.
