A movement is on foot to build a permanent monument on the Connor battlefield in the O-Four-Bar park in Ranchester, and to rebuild the foot bridge across the Tongue river to the park at the foot of Main Street. The bridge was taken out by high water last spring.

Ladies wool suits have been reduced to half-price at Stevens Fryberger, Sheridan’s New York store. Regular $20 suits are now $10, and $25 suits are $12.50.

The Ballard Candy Kitchen in Sheridan has installed a Butter-Kist Pop Corn machine. The machine is operated electrically, and is equipped for popping corn and roasting peanuts.
