Owing to the volume of western passenger business through Sheridan, it was necessary to run Engine 41 in two sections this afternoon. Four cars were carrying tourists for the ranch resorts of the Sheridan country.
The Sheridan Elks defeated the Carneyville ball team by a score of 12 to 9 at Carneyville yesterday.
Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Evans and his sister, Miss May Evans, left this afternoon for Denver. They will return overland in an automobile.
Howard Eaton and a party of tourists left this afternoon for his annual trip to Glacier National Park. The party will arrive at the park tomorrow.
