Hewitt’s Bootery is having a second July clearance sale. Women’s tan calf shoes, a $5 value, are now $1.45, and women’s Walk-over pumps, a $4.50 value, are $3.75.

T.E. Roberson has received a patent for an applicator which he recently invented.

J.L. Dixon, representative of the L.C. Smith Typewriter company, is in Sheridan calling on the business houses.

Thursday night will be boys’ night at the Salvation Army. The object of the meeting is to open the boys’ eyes to some of the traps that are set for them by the existing evils of the present day.
