Seventeen men have been discharged from Sheridan’s National Guard Company D because they were married or were unable to pass the medical examination. Thirteen of the men returned home today.

Luther Dunning arrived in Sheridan today from his ranch on Otter creek in Montana. He brought 15 head of thoroughbred horses, which he has entered in the horse show here next Tuesday. Mr. Dunning’s entry is of particular interest because he has devoted several years to breeding thoroughbred horses, and his herd is among the best in the Sheridan country.

The drivers who will participate in the auto races Sunday afternoon at the Sheridan fair grounds arrived this afternoon in company with Max Friedman, director of the contests.
