Sheridan’s Golden Rule store has announced a “Clean Slate Sale” starting the day after Labor Day. Sales include Queen Quality boots for $2.98, 59 cents for embroidered pillow cases, work shirts for 39 cents and one day only, men’s 10-cent white handkerchiefs for 4 cents. Also, Country Gentleman canned corn for 10 cents.
Minister Arthur Aikins will speak on the subject of “Bread for the World” at services at the Christian church in Sheridan this morning.
Irvin Sinsheimer, superintendent of the Sheridan Sugar factory, hosted an attractively arranged dinner at the Western hotel Wednesday evening. The event was complimentary to the plant foreman.
