At a most enthusiastic and optimistic meeting of the democratic state committee in Cheyenne yesterday, it was announced that Gov. John B. Kendrick of Sheridan has decided to accept the nomination for the United States senate, as made at the primary election.
C.H. Thatcher, manager of the Sheridan Sugar company, announced today that this year’s beet harvest will be 36,000 tons. The beet harvest will begin about Sept. 25.
Fifteen Cheyenne Indians from Oklahoma arrived in Sheridan yesterday, on their way to visit the Cheyenne at the Lame Deer reservation. They’re encamped on the outskirts of Sheridan until friends arrive with teams to take them out.
