John R. Lawson, a member of the executive board of the United Mine Workers of America for Colorado, will speak at Acme at 2 o’clock this afternoon. Special cars will leave Sheridan at 1 o’clock. Mr. Lawson is touring Wyoming delivering a series of addresses.
Sheridan’s New York store is having an advance showing of ladies’ suits and coats for fall. Plush and velour coats are reigning favorites, at prices ranging from $15 to $60.
A practice polo match will be played at the Polo ranch this afternoon. The third annual Wyoming polo tournament, for the Wyoming challenge cup, will be played in the near future.
