A large attendance from Sheridan and the surrounding country were at the Welton-Harris sale at the Welton ranch on Soldier Creek last Friday.
A.J. Butterfield of Banner had quite a crowd at his sale Tuesday of last week, and things generally sold well. He has leased his ranch to Albert Mascher and moved his family to Sheridan.
Miss Grace Babbit of Banner has joined the Kearney orchestra. She visited friends in Kearney last week.
Nick Green of Cabin creek gave a dance in his new cabin Saturday night. A large crowd attended. A nice lunch was served at midnight by Mr. and Mrs. Green, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baker.
