Hard riding and hard hitting brought victory yesterday afternoon to the polo team captained by Milton McCoy. The team defeated the team captained by Malcolm Moncreiffe by a final score of five and three-quarters to four.
A “mixer” at which the senior class was host and the freshmen were honored guests was held at Sheridan High School this evening. The event had two objects, to get acquainted and to have a good time, and in each, the affair was successful.
Sheridan’s city council today gave the Sheridan Gas company permission to install seven ornamental street lamp posts at the intersection of Main and Works streets. The posts will be located along the west and north sides of the Keenan building.
