Several small boys in the Murphy Gulch vicinity started a prairie fire one day last week. The fire might have done much damage had it not been quickly extinguished.
Elmer Connolly is assisting Charley Burris in looking after Wilson’s cattle. The cattle are pasturing on Zack Burris’ place on Murphy Gulch.
Mrs. Jim Van Meter of Piney and Miss Clara Dickey passed through Murphy Gulch today on their way to Sheridan where Miss Dickey is attending school.
