A large and interesting audience gathered at the Orpheum yesterday afternoon to hear a lecture by Bliss Knapp, a member of the board of lectureship of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Mr. Knapp spoke of the purpose of Christian Science to restore the lost element of healing to Jesus’ teachings.
The storms of Saturday and last night have doused the hopes of Sheridan Sugar company officials of resuming the beet harvest in Sheridan County. More than an inch of moisture fell at Sheridan Saturday and last night, according to the records of the local weather bureau.
The members of the younger set enjoyed another of their delightful dancing parties Friday evening at the Odd Fellows hall.
