Word has been received that a Sheridan man, Horace N. Wilcox, is one of two Wyoming recipients of a Rhodes scholarship. Mr. Wilcox is currently in his senior year at the University of Wyoming. A Rhodes scholarship is one of the most splendid prizes within the reach of young students, giving the recipient three full years at Oxford.
Sheridan Chapter Royal Arch Masons entertained at a smoker and supper tonight.
John Booz and Tom Powers, ranchmen on Pass Creek, were Sheridan visitors today. They returned home on the afternoon train.
