Commissioner F.C. Poll, who has charge of the Sheridan water system, made a trip along the supply lines yesterday and today and reports that everything connected with the water system is now in readiness for the winter.
Carroll resident Will King is busy hauling coal with a four-horse team, laying in his supply for the winter.
John Hammond has been hauling grain from Wolf creek to his Big Goose ranch this week.
Phil Miller of Beckton left for Clearmont Monday, where he took the train to Sheridan for a few days’ visit.
