The principal intermediate point on the railroad line up Clear creek valley from Clearmont to Buffalo at last has a name that is satisfactory to all parties and will probably become permanent. The name so chosen is Ucross. The name is unique and has the added merit of commemorating one of the best-known ranches of the early days in Wyoming. The U Cross outfit had its home ranch near where the town is growing up.
Mrs. Harry Woods and sons of Parkman came to Sheridan to visit relatives Friday. They returned home today.
Ray Six of Dietz went to Spears ranch on Dutch creek yesterday. He returned home this evening.
