The Farmers & Consumers Co-operative Co. in Sheridan has just received a car load of apples, which will be sold at $2 per box. This is the last car they’ll receive this year and includes Roman Beauties, Black Twigs, Winesaps, Yellow Newtons, Delaware Reds, Missouri Pippins and Alderson Reds.
Dr. and Mrs. J.H. Bradfield and Margaret returned home today from a several weeks’ trip to points east and south.
The wedding of Miss Aleda Tipple and Mr. Perry F. Buckle took place at 9 o’clock Sunday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. L.P. Hayes on South Thurmond street. Double-ring services were used.
