Several new subscriptions have been turned in toward the fund for purchase of a new Ford car to facilitate the work of Sheridan’s Salvation Army in reaching the poor and sick.
“The Heart of Maryland,” a five-part motion picture production with Mrs. Leslie Carter in her original role, will be shown at the Orpheum theater in Sheridan tomorrow and Friday. Today at the Orpheum, see Kathlyn Williams in “Redeeming Love.”
An 8-pound daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Beckley at the state hospital in Sheridan Monday afternoon. The girl has been named Helen Elizabeth, and she and her mother are both doing well.
