The quartermasters’ corp at Fort Mackenzie gave a delightful dance Saturday evening. About 45 couples were present, and a special car was run for the convenience of those attending the dance from Sheridan.
John Benton of Big Horn underwent an operation for appendicitis at the state hospital in Sheridan today. Because of his advanced age, Mr. Benton’s condition is serious.
Prof. J.J. Early of Sheridan has returned from Cheyenne where, as a representative of the State Teachers’ association, he spent several days assisting the school code committee. He says the bill includes a number of changes, the most important of which will be changes in the certification plan for teachers.
