George Brown has returned to Sheridan from Salem, Ore., where he went to visit his father, who is in very poor health. Mr. Brown said that business is not so good in Oregon generally as it is here and in Montana.
Rev. C.F. Fisher gave an illustrated lecture presenting an intimate study of the life and character of Abraham Lincoln at the Congregational church in Sheridan last night. The collection of slides made by Rev. Fisher six years ago is probably the only collection of its kind in existence.
