Otis Johnson of the Wyoming Electric Co. went to Kirby yesterday to overhaul the electric lighting plant at the Ferguson ranch.
A robin, the first harbinger of spring, put in an appearance in the city this morning. Notwithstanding the bitter cold wind, the robin was chirping as if it were a warm spring day.
Mayor Church introduced an ordinance at the meeting of the council for a special election to vote bonds for $30,000 to provide for acquiring land for establishment of a municipal cemetery. It’s likely that the ordinance will be passed at the next council meeting.
