A $30,000 damage suit instituted by Ralph Hughes against the Acme Coal company is being tried in district court today. Hughes is seeking to recover damages as the result of the loss of a leg by electrical burns while in the employ of the company several years ago.
W.A. Eaton of Eaton’s ranch is in Sheridan today. Also visitors in Sheridan are Harry Williams of Ucross and Mr. and Mrs. N.J. Barker of Ranchester.
A device for making blue prints has been installed in the room between the assessor’s office and the county clerk’s office. The device is for the use of the county surveyor.
