Workmen are busy remodeling and decorating the two rooms in the Metz building, formerly occupied by the Scales Motor company. The Farmers and Consumers Co-operative will occupy the entire building as soon as possible. The Scales Motor company has taken temporary quarters in the old barn opposite the Western hotel.
A.F. Meyer opened his fireproof garage on Broadway yesterday. The garage has a storage capacity of 40 cars, and a day and night service will be maintained if the business warrants it.
Carl Robinson and Mr. Elliott of Kooi were fishing in the Tongue river at Dayton Wednesday.
George Murdock of Meade Creek took his last load of hay to market this week.
