Miner Joe Wiensuski sought workmen’s compensation in district court today for injuries suffered when a diminutive cyclone swept through the village of Acme recently. The miner was caught in the wreckage of a small building that was blown down.

Sheridan school children, under direction of the fly committee, reportedly destroyed 2,648 flies during the month of February. John Walker of Taylor school won the prize for the boy killing the most flies, with 200 to his credit. He received a baseball and bat from the Brown Drug company.
