Judge and Mrs. W.S. Metz returned to Sheridan tonight from Washington, where they witnessed the inauguration of President Wilson and saw many other scenes that will become historical by reason of their important relation to the great international questions.
Twenty members of Company D, which left Sheridan the latter part of June, arrived home tonight. They have spent the last six months stationed on the border at Deming, New Mexico. Owing to the lateness of the hour, there was no public reception for the men on their arrival. But a committee for the Commercial club has been working on plans for a reception.
W.C. Reid delivered a new four-cylinder Buick to W.R. Peril of Sheridan this past week.
