The Jackson Motor company has received a carload shipment of Jackson automobiles, including three five-passenger touring cars and two four-passenger cruisers. The cars are on display in the company’s showroom at the corner of Gould street and Grinnell avenue.
The total enrollment of the city schools at the end of the last period was 1,786. Twenty-one new pupils were admitted to the schools during the last period.
While the proclamation issued by Mayor Church calls for a bond election to vote bonds for acquisition of a municipal cemetery, it’s generally understood that the council intends to buy Mount Hope cemetery. The election will be April 24.
