The prolonged winter has made the hay shortage in Sheridan County serious. Many farmers are entirely out of hay, while others are now feeding hay which they were depending on for their work stock during the time crops were being put in. County Agent S.M. Fuller has telegraphed a number of places from which he considered hay might be obtained.
Riley Motor Co. has been advised that increased price of material and labor makes it necessary to advance the price of Overland cars on April 1. Cars ordered before March 31 and that are in stock will be sold at the current price.
New men’s knit and paisley ties for spring wear are 75 cents at Reed’s, next to Sheridan’s Grand theater.
