In response to a telegram from Edward Rightor, grand exalted ruler of the Elks lodge, arrangments are being made to turn the meeting of the Sheridan lodge Wednesday night into a patriotic demonstration.
Rev. Weaver, Wyoming vice president of the Navy League, has accepted an invitation to be the principal speaker at the patriotic rally Thursday night. The rally will be at the Orpheum theater in Sheridan. There will also be prominent local speakers.
Hans Klieber, forest ranger for the Woodrock district, is in Sheridan today.
Coffeen school cleared $70 on “The Goose Girl,” which was presented Saturday at the Orpheum theater as a benefit for the school. The proceeds will be used to buy a lantern and slides for use in the school.
