W.E. Thompson, the wrestler who is to meet Eklund at the Orpheum on April 30, attended last night’s meeting of the Sheridan Athletic association, and gave those at the meeting instructions in the science of wrestling. He will give an exhibition at the gymnasium Monday night.
B. Gross & Co. are in a position to pay you more for your hides than anyone else. The company sold 100,000 hides and 150,000 sheep pelts at the highest market prices to a foreign exporter. The company is at Gould and Dow streets in Sheridan.
The Monarch Coal Co. put up an iron flag staff at the company office in Monarch on Sunday, and has hoisted an 8-by-12-foot flag.
