The latest recruits from Sheridan are Thomas McCoy, field artillery; Earl C. Green, engineer corps; and Carl Morgan, cavalry. All left yesterday. There are no more clerks needed for the quartermaster corps, but bakers are still in demand for the corps.
The superintendent of schools is receiving bids for the sale of the old Linden building until June 6.
Sheridan’s second Baptist church on East Brundage will give a grand rally on the first Sunday in June to raise money to pay the indebtedness of the church. Members of the church are contributing very liberally.
