Ruhn and Elizabeth Briggs, nieces of Joe Koehler, each bought a Liberty Bond this afternoon. Ruhn, who’s only 3 years old, bought a $100 bond, and her sister bought a $50 bond.
Sheridan’s Golden Rule store has 50 coats and capes on sale for $5.45. Also a fine assortment of white wash skirts, regularly priced at $4.98, are marked down to $1.98. The store will be closed Tuesday, Registration Day, during the parade and ball game.
The Sheridan Blue Sox are ready for their first game on May 30 against Buffalo. Zeke Brotherton will play second base and manage the team.
