The campaign for the raising of Sheridan’s share toward the Liberty Loan bond issue was launched at noon today in the basement of the Congregational church, amid high enthusiasm. R.H. Walsh explained the details of the bond issue and dwelt powerfully upon the part to be payed by the nation’s money in the fight against despotism.

The office of the county clerk will be open until noon tomorrow, Decoration Day, to supply registration cards to those who will be absent from their regular voting place on June 5, Registration Day.

The Taylor-Custer P.T.A. will meet Friday evening at the John S. Taylor school. This is the last meeting at which the teachers can be present before the close of the school.
