Mrs. Verner Z. Reed arrived yesterday from Denver. She will remain at the Sheridan Inn for a few days before going to the ranch for a brief visit.

The Monarch Coal Mining Co. are showing their patriotism by assisting their employees to buy Liberty Loan Bonds. Employees can buy $100 bonds for an initial payment of $10, then complete the payments at the rate of $10 per month.

Despite inclement weather, patriotic crowds thronged the streets of Sheridan all day for Registration Day. The parade lined up at City Hall at 10:30, and marched from there to the Court House, where it disbanded after singing the National Anthem.
