Sheridan County residents have subscribed to $179,900 in Liberty Loan bonds as of today, and several thousand dollars worth of subscriptions are still outstanding. The total amount assessed against the county by the government agents is $180,000, not the $200,000 previously reported.
Thomas Sweney, who shot Mrs. Loafman last month in Clearmont, and who was charged with a felonious assault with intent to kill, was found not guilty Wednesday night.
Work at the state experimental station is progressing in a splendid manner under direction of Leroy D. Willey, who is superintendent of the farm.
