Sheridan’s Salvation Army will hold a special open air meeting tomorrow afternoon. All collections taken at that time will be given to the Red Cross fund.
The Sheridan Elks drill team will practice tonight at the Elk’s Home, part of their preparation for an appearance in this year’s parade on July 4.
Sheridan’s Red Sox will meet Fort Mackenzie in Sheridan at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon. The soldiers have been getting plenty of practice, and hope to lower Sheridan’s colors.
Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus C. Welsh of New York City arrived today and will spend the summer at Hillman’s.
