G.L. MacFarlane, one of Sheridan’s popular chefs, has purchased the Idlewild cafe here. He has announced that he expects to make it one of the best and most popular places in town to dine.
Dr. and Mrs. Crane had as their luncheon guests at Kooi today Mrs. Alf Diefenderfer, Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. H. Burns and Miss Dorothy and Miss Georgia Dinwiddie.
A plan for financing the local Red Cross chapter was adopted and pledges amounting to just under $149 monthly until the end of the war were made at a meeting of the Red Cross drive organization tonight.
