Because of the hot weather, until further notice, the Sheridan Red Cross work rooms will be open only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Those rooms will be closed on the other days of the week.
The first annual picnic at the experimental farm on Dutch Creek yesterday was well-attended. A basket dinner was a feature, and Bullard & Son of Sheridan served hot coffee and iced tea free to the picnickers. The program included speeches and inspection of the buildings and plats.
The Elks Drill Corps will hold a drill at 7:30 tonight. Everyone is asked to make it a point to attend.
