Prices are slashed on summer goods at Sheridan’s Golden Rule store. Ladies’ large sailor straw hats with leather sweat bands are 50 cents, and children’s Panama cloth hats are 45 cents. In the ready-to-wear department, one lot of ladies’ summer wash dresses, values up to $6, are now $1.95.

The new Buick line for 1918 is now on display in the show room at Riley Motor Co., opposite the Carnegie Library in Sheridan.

Vera and Doris Kooi are entertaining again at one of their ever-popular house parties at their home in Kooi. The guests arrived last night shortly before the dinner hour and will remain until tonight.
