J.G. Rutherford, on West Burkitt Street, is reported progressing favorably after falling from a ladder last Saturday. He sustained a dislocated ankle, with some small bones broken.
Sealed proposals are being sought for the furnishing of screened lump coal to the several school houses of School District 7. Bids will be opened on Aug. 10 in the office of the superintendent of schools in Sheridan.
