A Look Back in Time: Sept. 6, 1917

Two men, Sheridan’s first quota for the National Army, left yesterday afternoon for American Lake, Wash. Not a single city official or representative of the business interests of the town was at the depot to wish the boys Godspeed.

Marie and Eleanor Jensen leave Sheridan today to resume their school work. Marie returns to Spearfish, S.D., to continue as an instructor in the manual training department of the normal school, and Eleanor goes back as a student in Stout Institute in Wisconsin.

Sherrard’s orchestra will provide music at a Harvest Dance Saturday night at Banner Hall.
