Buffalo Council Gets Building, Public Works Updates

In their recent meeting, the Buffalo City Council heard updates from the Building Inspector and Public Works Department on what they were currently dealing with.

Building Inspector Terry Asay said it has recently been quiet in his department.

Asay also said he has so far had no applications for the planning and zoning commission so he expects it will be a quick meeting this month unless that changes.

City Works Director Les Hook reported that he had contacted the engineer for the Klondike Road Project, who inspected a portion of it and found it needs some attention.

The contractor has been contacted and was expected to be on-site to discuss how to make the issue “right.”

According to Mayor Shane Schrader, the work was not up to specs in a section of the project.
