Sheridan County’s Commissioners have awarded the contract for their 2022 Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) project to Oxford, Inc. of
Oxford’s bid was for $427,360 which was slightly higher than the engineer’s estimate of $425,450.
There was an increase of 5% in the cost of materials from 2021 prices, according to a Public Works Memorandum.
County Engineer Ken Muller recommended approval of the contract.
Sheridan County was awarded federal funding in the amount of $324,800 leaving a balance of $102,560 that will come from the county in match funding.
