Johnson County OKs ERAP Contract With COMPASS

Johnson County has considered approval of a contract for COMPASS Center for Families to run the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) II.

Susan Carr, with COMPASS Center, spoke to the county commission about the program.

Carr said the county’s current sub-grantee, Family Crisis Center, has opted not to participate in the program moving forward, and she made the request for the commission to designate the COMPASS Center as the county’s new sub-grantee for the program.

The state and the Family Crisis Center are both aware that the COMPASS Center is making this request and have both given their approval.

The commission voted to approve the contract designating COMPASS as the new sub-grantee for the ERAP program in Johnson County.
