TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers stayed alive in the state “AA” tournament Wednesday with an 11-5 win over Laramie, they lead 5-3 going into the 7th inning and blew the game open with 6 runs, 3 of those runs came on a 3 run tape measure home run from Trevor Stowe, Carter Dubberley had two hits and two RBI.
For the third straight game Trooper starting pitching was outstanding as Brennan Mortenson pitched into the 7th inning to pick up the victory, Head coach Ben Phillips says the pitching staff has really been good.
And it was also good to see the bats come alive with the game on the line.

Cheyenne beat Gillette last night and Jackson beat Casper so Cheyenne and Jackson play the other game today starting at 4:00.
JETS BASEBALL – The Sheridan Jets season continues at the single “A” tournament in Cody yesterday the Jets beat Cheyenne 6-2 and will play Casper this afternoon at 2:00.
