During their regular meeting Tuesday, the Sheridan County Commission voted to publish a Notice of Intent (NOI) to amend the Rules and Regulations Governing Division of Land.
County Planner Mark Reid said the NOI starts the 45-day public comment period and explained the purpose for the changes.
According to a release from the county, copies of the proposed amendment are available from the Sheridan County Commissioners’ Office or County Public Works Department, 224 S. Main Street in Sheridan.
They may also be viewed on the County website at https://www.sheridancounty.com/
Written comments on the proposed amendment may be submitted by the public to the Board of County Commissioners, and we have provided contact information with this story at sheridanmedia.com.
A public hearing to receive oral comments on the proposed amendment will be held on September 20 at 9 a.m. and the board will consider adoption of the proposed amendment at its regular meeting scheduled at the same time.
