High School Football Heads Into Week two for the Broncs / The Eagles and Rams Open Friday Night / Cowboys Host Tulsa in Their Home Opener Saturday Afternoon

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – Today we look at the football week one and zero week aftermath, the Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne Central on a late field goal from Colson Coon who says it wasn’t pretty but they’ll take the victory.

And they have a lot more work to do but they have confidence heading into week two.

The Tongue River Eagles beat the Sheridan JV’s 34-13 in a zero week game for TR Alex Barker scored three times and talked with Sheridan Media’s Kevin Koile after this game.

And Eagles Head coach Steve Hanson felt overall they had a pretty good day.

The Broncs play at Cheyenne South Friday night coverage begins at 5:30 with the First Federal bank and trust pregame show kickoff is set for 6:00.

The Tongue River Eagles play at Thermopolis Friday night, the Big Horn Rams host Lovell Friday night

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will host and invitational meet Friday at Kendrick golf course.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams have all three Cheyenne teams at home this week and they will also host matches with the Gillette schools, they play South Thursday , East and Central Friday and Campbell county and Thunder Basin Saturday.

CROSS COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams and the Tongue River runners will all compete at an invitational over in Spearfish Friday afternoon.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers have competition at Natrona county Friday and then at Buffalo Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team and the Big Horn Lady Rams play at the Gillette invitational tournament this weekend, the Tongue River Lady Eagles will play at a tournament in Greybull.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys play their home opener Saturday against Tulsa, you can hear it live on KWYO and 106.9 FM pregame starts at noon with kickoff set for 1:30.
