The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce has hired a new membership coordinator and she stopped by the Johnson County Commission meeting this week to introduce herself to them.
Pam Day said she has moved to and been in Buffalo for about a month, and then read a statement from the chamber board.
Day said the chamber board continues to move forward with developing partnerships and keeping communication open with the Johnson County Tourism Association and JO CO First.
She said the chamber has also committed to present events this fiscal year including the Monster March, Christmas Button Campaign and Lighted Christmas Parade, Wednesday Market, and the Fair & Rodeo Parade.
They are also discussing the Small Business Expo but have made no commitment at this time, and are looking at other programs such as Business After Hours.
